Regular backups protect you if something goes wrong.
- Log in to cPanel.
- Open Backup or Backup Wizard.
- Under Download a Full Account Backup, generate a backup and download it to your computer once it is ready. This includes your files, databases, and email.
You can also download partial backups (just files, or just a database) from the same page. We recommend keeping your own copy of a recent backup, especially before you make big changes to your site. If you ever need us to restore from a server backup, open a ticket as soon as possible.
