You can move a domain you own elsewhere to us so everything sits in one account.
Before you start, at your current registrar:
- Unlock the domain.
- Get the transfer authorisation code (also called EPP code or auth code).
- Make sure the domain is not within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, and not close to expiry.
Then with us:
- Go to https://www.register.rw and choose Transfer (or Domains > Transfer in your client area).
- Enter the domain and the authorisation code.
- Pay the transfer fee, which usually adds one year to your registration.
- Approve the transfer confirmation email if one is sent.
Transfers can take a few days to complete. Your website and email keep working during the transfer as long as you do not change nameservers. Contact us if you get stuck getting the auth code from your old registrar.
